Gaytimes Festival 2018Looking for a weekend of music, art, camping, community and yoga? Then don’t miss the Gaytimes Festival when it returns in February 2018.

The Gaytimes Festival returns for a third consecutive year in 2018. Billed as “the camping festival of your big gay dreams”, Gaytimes is Australia’s queer camping music festival.

Gaytimes 2018

The dates for the 2018 festival have just been announced. Over the three days and two nights on February 16 – 18 2018, the Gaytimes Festival will be held in a picturesque campground in Lake Mountain Alpine Resort.

Gaytimes is a boutique music, arts and camping festival for the whole lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer and gender diverse community. It is an inclusive festival that welcomes all the colours of the rainbow, and their friends.

As in previous years, Gaytimes offers a weekend of music, art, community, sexuality and self-expression for the LGBTIQ community.

With an eclectic lineup of music, performers, visual arts, food trucks, yoga and more, Gaytimes is a festival experience unlike any other.

Whether you opt for glamping on the mountain top or prefer camping under the stars, Gaytimes is a bush doof with a touch of class.

Gaytimes Festival 2018 Community

As a social enterprise, Gaytimes hopes to provide a platform for emerging queer and gender diverse artists to be seen and heard. Gaytimes isn’t just about music, either. It is a weekend getaway of performance art, visual art, light projections, community, self-expression, sexuality, yoga and more.

We pride ourselves on curating an eclectic and diverse lineup that represents people from a broad range of identities, backgrounds and music styles. We aim to create a safe space for LGTBIQ people to come together and be themselves.

Gaytimes Festival 2018 Outdoors

In 2017, Gaytimes Festival made a few changes to ensure everyone feels comfortable including: providing gender neutral toilets, extra camping areas, more volunteers and more live acts. There was also a strict zero tolerance policy towards harassment and any anti-social, homophobic, transphobic or racist behaviour. This policy remains in place for the 2018 festival.
